Art by Craft show and launch of craft fair series.

Denver Handmade Alliance is pleased to sponsor an October09 Art by Craft art show and launch an approximately bi-monthly craft fair series.

Art by Craft: The October gallery show looks to explore craft techniques applied to an art installation setting. We are open to any craft medium, the term ‘craft’ being loosely applied. Examples include knit, sewn, or quilted pieces, ceramic or metal work. Also, traditional art techniques applied to a craft setting in mixed media pieces are encouraged. We are really open and looking to the crafters and artists to interpret the theme.

Opening reception for Art by Craft show: October 2nd, 6-9pm
First craft fair: October 24th, 2-8pm

Applications are open until September 18th. Download pdf application and details here.
